Job description About the department Global Medical Affairs, GBS (GMA GBS) is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs team in Headquarters (HQ) in Denmark and Zurich, is based out of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated medical advisors, project managers and publication manager working together with HQ, regions and affiliates across the world. Our core competencies are communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organization delivering external medical events including in-house content development and project management and Publication planning. The position As a Global Medical Writer, you are in charge for performing medical writing tasks in collaboration with GMAB medical affairs department. You will be the first medical writer in the Biopharm area and (develop outline of manuscripts based on extensive literature search, liaise with internal and external authors to develop first and second draft of manuscripts, implement comments from authors effectively and finalise the abstracts/manuscripts). You will be expected to collaborate successfully with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams and contribute to knowledge sharing and good collaboration with stakeholders and colleagues worldwide. This position requires you to have good communication and analytical skills, experience in publication writing and strong understanding of publication guidelines. Qualifications Below skills are required: 6 years of experience with scientific research methodology, including designing and conducting experiments, and analysing and reporting experimental results Experience with scientific writing in English (publications for peer reviewed journals or equivalent) Experience working within a global setting Strong understanding of external requirements, guidelines and regulations governing publication writing Experience from the pharmaceutical/CRO industry Strong verbal and written communication Strong analytical skills Experience in publication writing Strong understanding of publication guidelines Working at Novo Nordisk At Novo Nordisk, we have been changing diabetes since 1923.
