About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (CCA GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The CCA GBS unit also supports Biopharm global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. In Obesity Commercial Unit, we are focused on changing the way obesity is viewed and treated today, as well as increasing number of people who receive innovative treatments and quality care. In addition to driving innovative market development and communication efforts, the unit is responsible for the global commercialization and optimization of Saxenda® and Obesity & NASH pipelines.

The position

  • Generate robust real-world evidence (RWE) to support market access activities pre/during and post launch for Novo Nordisk pipeline products. The studies include but not limited to epidemiologic analysis like incidence and prevalence, healthcare resource cost and utilization, adherence, persistence analysis
  • Independently drive execution of end-to-end real-world evidence generation studies
  • Proactive planning of project milestones and ensure projects are delivered as per timeline
  • Provide guidance for PEG Mangers in HQ about real-world data sources, strengths & limitations
  • Provide support for publication materials across key major international/national congresses
  • Statistical programming and input to analysis plan
  • Data and statistical programming/writing code scripts (SQL, SAS/R)
  • Extensive data analysis on real world data sources including insurance claims for example IQVIA real world datasets, Electronic health record data and registries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Masters in Biostatistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer science, Life sciences, Public health or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in data analytics/science, ideally within pharmaceutical industry or consultancy
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working on real world data analysis
  • Scientific publication track record (in peer-reviewed manuscripts) is preferable.
  • Good communication including face-to-face /TC / VC interaction with relevant stakeholders
