You will work closely within the clinical team, with the Product Managers and with the engineering teams to optimize image quality, execute plans for external clinical evaluations and support in the definition of a clinical strategy for the Primary Care products. You will collaborate on projects with our customers and/or develop commercial applications, sustain Reference Sites/ Luminaries’ collaborations and provide application support to sales teams, report (clinical) studies and create selling tools. Job Description Job Description Responsible for defining program clinical strategy and requirements including indications for use, clinical claims, evidence roadmap, and formal validation to support regulatory submissions Provide clinical leadership, and workflow direction as a catalyst to drive new technologies and workflow for Primary Care handheld ultrasound products As a clinical representative you will work closely with global cross functional and region teams to specify product functions, evaluate features, and generate value propositions. Partner with engineering development team to provide product input and direction on image quality, and advanced feature development Liaise with other internal departments e.g. Regulatory, Research, and Medical Affairs team to ensure quality, regulatory and research requirements are met Maintain up to date knowledge in the field of Ultrasound including broad applications for target customers Work closely with marketing team as the clinical representative to develop brochures and training materials for regional sales organizations for new products/features and install base needs. Develop and support key clinical/key opinion leader relationships Quality Specific Goals: Aware of and comply with the GE Healthcare Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives Required Qualifications ARDMS certification or relevant scientific or clinical degree, or hospital registrations or equivalent knowledge / experience Experience in Ultrasound technology and clinical understanding, knowledge in the application of medical diagnostic Ultrasound and on Ultrasound anatomy and pathology Significant experience in the medical industry clinical applications or sales experience is preferred Experience in communicating scientific data (talks, posters, papers) Exceptional ability to understand and communicate clinical needs including the ability to translate and communicate into engineering requirements Inclusion and Diversity GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
