Join our tax team and play a key role in ensuring our taxation deliverables are met in a timely manner following international tax compliance and accounting regulations, while being empowered to take your career to the next level. As part of an inclusive and vibrant team this opportunity will see you working closely with various regions to perform tax compliance and tax accounting functions for group entities worldwide. The role will encompass preparation and analysis of tax returns, tax accounting, taxability of offshore entities, tax provisioning and headquarter reporting. Part of your responsibilities will be also be to prepare income tax calculations, prepare corporate tax returns and to work on global withholding tax processes and tax related balance sheet reconciliations. You’ll help obtain tax residency certification from tax authorities when required as well as ensure timely tax payments to authorities and provide effective tax rate reconciliation as per request from stakeholders. To be successful in this role you’ll be a qualified CA with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in financial services or investment banking. You’ll bring tax and accounting knowledge with previous exposure to financial accounting. Experience with tax accounting and exposure to IFRS will also be an added advantage. You’ll bring good communication, relationship building and research skills and be a confident user of accounting systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Excel.
