About the Role You will play an essential role in developing products and executing business strategies. You will be working very closely with business development manager, product manager, technical architect, and engineers to evaluate 3rd party vendors, available technology choices, conversion of product roadmap into an engineering execution plan, sprint management and work with engineers and the quality assurance team for timely quality deliverables. You will also be responsible for engineering team management and growth. Throughout this exciting experience, you’ll build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, from the product, marketing, research, and operation team among others to meet the fast-paced nature of the financial technology industry. What You Will Do Engages with business and product leaders to understand business needs and translate these needs into executable solutions Serve as a key member of the management team setting strategic technology direction Provides program delivery and end-to-end management of large-scale business-impacting initiatives both directly and through the management of a team of technologists and product owners. Ability to quickly lead projects from ideation to production Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities Experience working on highly scalable and distributed systems preferably B2C systems that are highly adaptable to change in demand and user engagement characteristics. Experience collaborating with the team across functions, organizations, and geographies Work with quality assurance, DevOps, and infrastructure team for setup of secure, automated technology operations (infrastructure, scale, alerting/monitoring) and bug-free deliveries in compliance with product specifications Setup technology operations and support team to handle any technology and customer support Within the tribe/department establish benchmarks, standards, techniques, and other mechanisms for defining, measuring, and optimizing non-functional requirements. Create exemplars, frameworks, standards, guidebooks, or other tooling that enhances the ability of all members of a team, organization, or domain to work consistently. Project planning and estimating effort for the different phases Find and help fix performance, scalability, and other live issues in a very time-critical environment. What You Will Need A Bachelor’s / Masters’s or an equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field At least 2 years of hands-on working experience in building and produtionizing technology solutions for investment protocols and funds At least 6 years of working experience, experience working with fintech / financial service companies is a plus Good understanding of financial technology, practical design and implementation aspects of building secure features Experience in building and managing high-growth, cutting-edge technologies teams from scratch Strong project execution skills to manage complex projects also can manage and prioritize multiple internal and external stakeholders Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical thinking and data analytics ability About Gojek Gojek is a Super App. It is one app for ordering food, commuting, digital payments, shopping, hyper-local delivery, and a dozen other products.
