Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and test physician and facility claim scenarios that test iCES and/or CES editing for all United lines of business
  • Maintain a robust test bed of physician and facility claims for effective and efficient testing of iCES and/or CES editing
  • Work with key business stakeholders, business analysts, rule developers, and programmers to identify and remediate defects within iCES and/or CES code
  • Participate in analysis, walk-throughs, inspections, code reviews and user group meetings
  • Participate in risk management activities with project team to identify risks if quality assurance process is not followed
  • Incorporate Best Practices and Process Improvements into daily work
  • Comply with IST Quality Assurance program throughout all phases of work
  • Apply Quality Assurance audits results to future iCES and/or CES integration and system development and testing
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and actively participate in process improvement teams
  • Ensure completion of assigned tasks by posted deadlines
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Eligibility
To apply to an internal job, employees must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 12 months of continuous service in their current Grade
  • Performance rating in the last common review cycle of Meets Expectations or higher
  • Not be on any active CAP or active disciplinary action

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer or equivalent degree
  • 3+ years of CPT Coding knowledge
  • 3+ years of Medical / Physician Claim Processing and working knowledge of Medical Reimbursement Policies
  • 3+ years of experience with MS Excel (manipulating data; ability to use Macro’s; create basic formulas)
  • 6 months of specific iCES or CES claim edit development experience
  • Strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coding Certification
  • UAT or System testing experience
  • Working knowledge of iCES and/or CES
