Job Description : ROLE SUMMARY Manage and oversee the team of scientific communication Reviewers in Asia & AfMe responsible for reviewing medical education and promotional content, in all activities to provide high quality and timely service Build a partnership with relevant stakeholders and work towards service expansion activities Manage and oversee the team of Scientific Communication reviewers/specialists responsible for reviewing medical education, promotional content, labels in all activities to provide high quality and timely service Overall accountability for execution of assigned programs/ projects. Ensure that the deliverables of the projects are achieved on or ahead of schedule and within standards such that they meet the desired outcomes (i.e., quality standard, value) and business deliverables ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic/Policy Operational and strategic inputs, and business / technical expertise to facilitate a compliant review process Partner with MQGM colleagues in implementation of the policy Under supervision from line manager, partner with medical affairs & marketing colleagues and work with them on optimization of the use of available internal resources to effectively reduce duplication and costs at a local country level The manager must work towards centralization by partnering with EM marketing colleagues to facilitate easy uptake of assets at country level Project Planning, Execution and Delivery Oversee review of promotional, label, training and continuing medical education material in compliance with relevant SOPs/ regulations/ industry codes/ working practices Provide process, organizational, operational, and day-to-day administrative expertise, and leadership for the COE Manage the overall program and associated specific project schedules and monitor milestones, identify potential problems, and adjust plans accordingly Information & Communication Management Collaborate with the Biopharma Emerging Markets Medical Affairs teams to manage and communicate information exchanges with stakeholders and internally within the team. This includes preparing operational progress updates. Serve as the central point of contact to both team members and Biopharma Emerging Markets Medical Affairs group for operational matters related to programs or projects People Team Development – Actively contribute to the professional development of the team of scientific communication reviewers/ consultants Lead team kick-off meeting and team chartering for new programs/projects Align and motivate team members to meet project and customer needs Participate in relevant Biopharma Emerging Markets Medical COE governance and review meetings, as appropriate Technology Liaison with the Business Technology function in areas such as databases, websites, interactive systems, product, and health information, etc. Identify technology solutions for enabling better information availability and dissemination Qualification & Experience Master of Science/ Pharmaceutical Science Prior work experience (4 – 6 years) in the capacity of a medical reviewer Special Skills & Knowledge Planning & Prioritizing Result orientation Networking Strategic Thinking Relationship Building Knowledge of project management discipline and relevant tools Ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional processes as required. Knowledge of ‘pharmaceutical medicine’ including clinical pharmacology, medical and paramedical sciences, medicine and medical statistics, and relevant Therapeutic Area/Products Expertise in clinical trial design and methodology, and understanding of interfaces, and conduct Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, drug discovery, research & development, commercialization, promotion, and applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines Communication skills, both written and verbal (including medical writing and presentation skills) Analytical skills and reasoning, and sound medical judgment/decision making Interpersonal skills, internal & external networking, and the ability to impact and influence Pfizer is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.Medical#LI-PFE
