Job Description:
Under general supervision of team leader, independently perform routine scientific research tasks using standard techniques, procedures and equipment.
ü Develop experimental plans, investigate technical concepts & needs,
ü Perform Analytical Method development and validation for API and specility chemicals, raw materials using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, etc.
ü Perform Analytical method transfer for API & specialty chemical project at manufacturing site. On-line troubleshooting as well as during method development & method transfer.
ü Support routine analysis. Experimental data generation, interpretation and review of analytical development.
ü Propose experimental program and discuss with manager/R&D engineers
ü Show analytical chemistry proficiency and use advanced analytical techniques to develop analytical testing methods for new product.
ü Provide timely support to plant / Regulatory or QA in resolving analytical related queries, Impurity standards, improvements and or development of new analytical tools.
ü Analyse and resolve research issues in a timely and accurate manner
ü Develop, maintain, manage and document all research materials and data
ü Perform general lab assignments e.g. analytical reagents and columns inventory management, Calibration of analytical instruments, Maintaining IQ/ OQ/ PQ documentation for analytical instruments, lab house-keeping, Implementation of SOP in R&D Lab, Updating/ Renewal of Annual Maintenance Contract for analytical instrument, as assigned.
ü Instruct, supervise and coach less experienced lab team members on assigned tasks and EHS issues
ü Provide onsite or offsite support for execution of transfer activity as per Plan
ü Review received Quotes for Analytical transfer activities, Review analytical documents, Identify and prepare Gap analysis.
ü Support in preparation, review and approval of Analytical method transfer documents such as Method assessment document, Analytical method transfer plan, Protocol and Reports, stability data.
ü Resolve queries in coordination with Sending site / Receiving site and Internal technology transfer team.
ü Strong Knowledge and understanding of the analytical chemistry, various analytical technique used with industrial experience.
ü Experience of using various analytical instruments Like HPLC, GC, GC-HS, LCMS
ü Well versed with analytical method development, validation and transfer.
ü knowledge in HPLC, GC, NMR., mass spectral data analysis and interpretation.
ü Knowledge of plant operations, and quality systems, ICH guideline, GLP & GMP
ü Ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and present results.
ü Technical writing skills. MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Internet Applications.
ü Knowledge of SAP and other sourcing tools.
