With a passion for financial accounting and reporting, you’ll work in a high performing team to deliver up to date reporting, analysis and commentary on the financial position and performance of the subsidiaries of the Company. In this role you’ll be responsible for preparation of the income statement, balance sheet and other financial statement notes including variance analysis and commentaries. You’ll also be responsible for preparation and review of monthly and quarterly deliverables relating to the BU subsidiaries and the preparation of reports and responses for queries from both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll also be coordinating internally with business teams for various input to effectively achieve the deliverables. You’ll be liaising with external auditors and be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of deliverables within timeframes, we well as the integrity and completeness of financial records and ensuring compliance with finance control standards. You’ll have the opportunity to continuously innovate with a focus on improving processes to enhance efficiencies and add value whilst ensuring quality consciousness in all aspects of the team. To be successful in this role, you’ll have a postgraduate accounting qualification (CA or CPA), as well as 2-6 years of relevant post qualification experience with a strong background in financial accounting and reporting services. You’ll also demonstrate the ability to work in a virtual global team and manage cross-border relationships. You’ll be experienced in financial services, financial accounting and statutory reporting in a service industry environment and have a strong customer service ethic with the ability to effectively build relationships and understand your stakeholder’s needs.
