Role Description

Role Description:
Service Desk Engineer will provide support to end users over phone, email and chat support. The person will be responsible to understand, troubleshoot and resolve day to day IT issues for customers. The role requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written with basic understanding of technical issues.
Role and responsibilities

  • 24×7 Level 1 Helpdesk – ISP connectivity, desktop, OS, VPN, authentication, security remote support through voice, chat
  • Experience troubleshooting password login, Linux, Windows (hardware, software), Telecom Application (billing/data center).
  • Hands on experience in incident management tools – ServiceNow, GSuite, Microsoft Office.
  • International (US, EU, Australia) Inbound voice and chat experience. Accent trained.
  • Responsible for solving customers technical queries and assist customers with Hardware and Software issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration, password reset
  • Create and log tickets for customers in the ticketing tool
  • Provide remote support to customers using remote assistance tools
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until their technical issue is resolved

Skills

  • Understanding of computer systems and networking concepts
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Multitasking with an ability and experience in managing multiple tasks and projects
  • Comfortable working in shifts, and US time zone.

Qualifications

  • Graduation/BE, diploma/certification in networking/ hardware.
  • Good to understanding of ITIL conce
