Technical Trainer We are looking for very hands-on IT professionals to help design, build and deliver deep training to enable internal teams on our products. The Cohesity platform allows customers to transform their data center backups, file shares, and test & dev environments to be agile both on-prem as well as in the cloud. The ideal candidate is someone who has considerable experience working in these environments and helping people to learn to be successful with new technology. The role will focus on developing web-based content for self-paced learning. In addition, this position will be participating in developing a 1-day and 4-day instructor-led courses as well as updating and expanding these materials to accommodate new product features. Responsibilities: You will be working with engineering, systems engineers, tech marketing specialists, and Tech leads within the SRE team to build out technical training. Develop Work with SMEs to identify key learning objectives and course outlines Develop course lecture material / slides as well as web-based training equivalent material Identify and develop key lab activities Keep materials up to date with new product introductions and expanded capabilities Develop and test candidate questions for certification exams Collect course reviews and analyse to plan for future course revisions Train Deliver Internal-facing courses at corporate locations Help manage course logistics and scheduling Assist in training other internal/external trainers Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Experience developing Web-Based Training (WBTs) (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate) 5+ years’ experience in IT Technology Experience in these technical areas required Storage, Backup, Virtualization Additional experience highly desirable: Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuance Database Protection and Recovery Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) Layer 2 Networking and Firewalls Scripting / Automation Visio or equivalent application Prior course development and delivery Excellent communication and project-related skills are also required Strong verbal communication/presentation skills Strong written skills and the ability to create presentations and labs The ability to teach others and make them successful Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills The ability to manage projects and to drive to a deadline #LI-FR1 Data Privacy Notice for Job Candidates: For information on personal data processing, please see our .
