We need you to lead our team!
Danica Technology, is seeking a technology lead to guide and work with mainframe developers in India. The team consists of 6-10 full time developers and 1 consultant, working primarily within 4 mainframe systems, but we also have Java components and we will in the future possibly also be looking into .Net technologies for the purpose of renovating our system portfolio. We expect that over time the number of colleagues in the chapter will increase.
The Danica Technology works with end-to-end systems for the financing journey in Danske Bank. We are a team of 40 people working across many different technologies, and our main focus at the moment is to join together as one collected team to continue to build excellent systems for business financing in order to get in control of Danica pension process.
The role of chapter lead includes the following areas of responsibility:
– Design and technical delivery guidance for the developers
– Support skilling and development of team members
– Contribute as a squad member towards the goals of the squad and work closely with system owner and development team.
– Participate in the technical discussion and lead sessions and work closely with system owner and leaders for future technical roadmaps.
– Work closely with the Global Leadership Team and IT Leadership team in the Department.
— Work closely with India Leadership Team on the DIT specific initiatives.
From a skill point of view we need the following qualifications
– Extensive PL/1 coding experience of minimum 5 years (Mandatory skill)
– Good knowledge and experience with JCL, DB2, File handling
– Knowledge in using IDz, OPC/batch scheduling
– Agile “SCRUM” experience
– Development of requirements (Functional and Technical Design, HLD and LLD, system documentation)
– Change management and incident management
– Experience as a technology leader or a lead developer
In addition the following qualifications are nice to have.
– Java and/or .Net experience
– Knowledge of Domain Driven Design and implementation of API services
– CI/CD and DevOps knowledge and mentality
– The ability to coach and drive digital innovation
– Knowledge within financial industry
