The Team
We are a team of engineers with deep technical expertise on Cisco’s product and technology used by Service provider Customers and relevant industry experience. We work closely with Cisco Engineering team & CX Leadership to identify and execute actions required to accelerate success of Support Services Organization. We use innovative ideas to deliver the best Customer experience in Industry.

We need a team player and natural innovator that can drive resolution of complex customer issues, improved customer experiences with products, technologies, and solutions by demonstrating technical excellence, collaboration, and ownership in all aspects of customer problem resolution. Focus should be on complex, interdependent, highly visible customer issues that have broad impact. Serve as a cross-functional technical advisor by utilizing depth and breadth of knowledge to drive customer success.
- Typically requires Bachelor degree in a technical field(CS/EE preferred) or equivalent plus 4-7 years related experience.
- Professional level (e.g. CCNP) or Expert level (CCIE) is desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Developing ability to function effectively in ambiguous circumstances.
- Shares information and communicates clearly with site and/or regional team members to improve team efficiency.
- Has working knowledge of software programmability, automation, orchestration and/or virtualization.
- Understanding of network Programming skills (Python, Dockers, Kubernetes) will be an added advantage
Desired Skills
- Experience and in depth knowledge of Product and Technologies in Service provider network like Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), MPLS,L3VPN,L2VPN, EVPN, MPLS-Traffic, Multicast, MVPN.
- Hands on experience in resolving Medium to complex network issues.
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves incidents related to Cisco products, services or solutions.
- Added Advantage, knowledge on Cisco Routing products such as ASR9XX,ASR9K, NCS5500, NCS5XX.
- Effectively communicates (verbal and written) with the customer and Cisco collaborators on status and progress of service requests

What you will do
- Builds productive relationships with customers and takes ownership for customer success.
- Fully identifies and resolves issues identified within the case. Leads by example. Has a local, site level impact.
- Frequently assists other TCEs and Global Delivery Partners with problem resolution.
- Submits effective customer concerns with Engineering teams.
- Recognizes and submits bugs with all required related information. Mentors others to file bugs.
- Builds and uses sophisticated lab setups to duplicate and resolve problems.
- Produces and shares intellectual capital (including documentation and training) within technology and adjacent are as for internal audiences, Global Delivery Partners and customers.
- Mentors and develops more junior TCEs and Global Delivery Partners.
- Demonstrates software skills and tools to configure, deploy and/or troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions. Contributes in the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g. scripts, digital signatures).
- Typically collaborates with customers, other TCEs, Partners, Global Delivery Partners, field personnel, CAP Managers and internal engineering departments.
- Is a technical expert in at least one are with broad knowledge across the technology. Reads technical documentation, functional specs, RFCs.
- Has an advanced knowledge of global common customer issues and is able to understand the impact to the industry in addition to the team impact. Comfortable using knowledge to assist with enhancement proposals.
- Solves problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis requires further evaluations of multiple factors and correlation of data.
- Receives limited supervision. Receives little instructions on routine work and general instruction on new assignments,
- Provides guidance and mentoring to other engineers. Translates team goals into own work assignment.
