We are looking for a Team Lead who is excited about joining and leading a high-performing team and working in an international environment. About the department Global Medical Affairs, GBS (GMA GBS) is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs team in Headquarters (HQ) in Denmark and Zurich, is based out of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated medical advisors, project managers and publication manager working together with HQ, regions and affiliates across the world. Our core competencies are communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organization delivering external medical events including in-house content development and project management and Publication planning. The position Reporting to the Manager, MedComm Biopharm in Global Medical Affairs, you will be in charge for the overall performance of the Rare Blood Disorders content team, including timely planning and proper execution of projects and scientific deliverables. Further, you will be responsible for the performance and development of approximately 5 dedicated employees. Your role will be to set direction to the team, setting the strategies and ensure high professional structure and standards within the team. Subsequently, you will be responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate and credible scientific medical guidance across medical affairs for the internal and external stakeholders. Above all, your experience working with global stakeholders and cross functional teams will help you to collaborate successfully in this role. An equal part of your role will be to work on scientific deliverables, where you will use your scientific expertise to develop scientific communication materials and execute internal and external medical education for products within the Rare Blood Disorders domain. This position requires you to have strong scientific knowledge and expertise, strong leadership communication and analytical skills, and strong stakeholder management skills. Qualifications Below skills are required: Has minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the field of medical communications (Global Scientific/Medical Advisor/Medical Writer) Has minimum of 2-3 years of experience in people management Has minimum of 5 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry or relevant industry Excellent written and spoken English Substantial experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and experience in providing training and support in medical writing tasks Good knowledge of Global Medical Affairs principles and Medical communication requirements Willingness to coach colleagues and support team development Collaborative working, ability to get results through others and to work in a highly motivated team Extrovert, engaged, dynamic, results-driven Ability and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment Ability to engage and collaborate with people with different backgrounds (science, business, etc.) Excellent networking abilities Experience and willingness to work in an international matrix organisation Excellent presentation skills Strategic mindset Passionate about influencing industry from a medical point of view Ability to manage complex tasks and organizational issues Ability to engage and collaborate with people of different cultural background Working at Novo Nordisk At Novo Nordisk, we have been changing diabetes since 1923.
