Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities: Triaging and routing of tickets raised worldwide to the appropriate resolving team Resolution of tickets which requires IT skills. Typical tickets include access management, system support and data requests Maintenance of OASIS Package Configuration Specification (PCS) spread sheets for all business configuration updates from Argus console. Supporting the Incident and Service Request Management for PV Suite of applications e.g. OASIS (Argus, LAM and Argus J), Argus Admin Tool, PVLite, OASIS Reports (Wizards and Custom reports), CSP, PVA Database, IMMS, DST and OSM Accountability: Support: Respond to client or end-user requests by diagnosing and resolving problems and incidents that fall within defined guidelines and/or escalating or transferring problems and incidents to other technical support teams and/or outside vendors as appropriate to ensure ongoing business operations. Knowledge and understanding of user needs when issues are raised and provision of timely and expert resolution and advice. Work across the organization to resolve end-user requests and incidents in a timely manner. Competencies: Good communication skills Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint Analytical skills and logical thinking that include: Basic knowledge of SQL and documenting requirements based on end user input Basic knowledge of ITIL Ability to work in shifts Basic knowledge of medical and drug terminology Ability to work with tight deadlines while under pressure, while maintaining a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and integrity. Functions as a team player Ability to work independently with only a moderate level of supervision Customer focus Develops self Education- Bachelor/Master degree (scientific or medically related field is preferred) with a minimum of 0-2 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in clinical development, pharmacovigilance and information management or equivalent work experience.
