About the role – you will: Lead a high performing engineering team that develops cloud-native software for data orchestration and systems fleet management software Define product development best practices for building and delivering cloud-native applications Use Agile development best practices to organize work and collaborate across engineering and business stakeholders Interact with product management and test organizations to scope solution requirements and software features to align with the delivery roadmap About you: Passion for developing and mentoring software teams Enjoy working on new product development with dynamic customer needs and requirements Continuously learning new technologies and methods, and sharing that knowledge with the development team to increase team capabilities Excellent leader, team builder, problem solver, communicator, and collaborator Strong written and oral communication skills for coordination with the extended team, including engineering groups, and communicating product issues and status to the executive level Ability to lead cross functionally with a wide variety of disciplines and geographies Leader/mentor and have experience managing engineering teams Ability to work with customers, business teams and architects to define solutions to manageability requirements Your experience includes: Demonstrated experience leading high-performance teams Leading Agile development methodologies Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery experience including continuous integration and verification Project management experience with cross-functional and multi-geographic teams, including vendors and partners Development experience in web applications, mobile applications, distributed systems, microservice architectures, databases, networking, or software security Storage Systems manageability design experience (Block Array, Object Store, and/or Shuttles) Demonstrated delivering storage software solutions to end customers Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years related experience You Might Also Have: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile Management Tools Full stack technologies for cloud-native applications Continuous delivery processes Test automation frameworks Colorado’s 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $155,500 – $231,000. Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
