Role

  • Accountable for designing, planning and coordinating the sourcing efforts; ensure the talent acquisition programs are scalable to support local, regional and global activities
  • Monitor progress against the goals for time-to-fill, cost per hire, diverse candidate slates and talent pipelines for the region
  • Develop diverse and ready to hire pipelines of candidates as designated
  • Develop market intelligence and work on key strategic projects at regional and/or global scale
  • Own the talent – hunt, engage, farm, bring it to the business and add them to the workforce
  • Develops sourcing strategies through detailed market research and data mining, using resources such as LinkedIn or social media pertaining to prospective candidates
  • Executes marketing and branding talent acquisition strategies (e.g. timed social media postings, segmentation driven visuals), and collaborates with Communications to achieve designated objectives
  • Coordinate phases of the talent acquisition process for assigned talent pipeline and evaluates team recommendations of candidates
  • Follow talent acquisition specific processes and systems

All About You:

  • Strong background in Talent Acquisition in managing high volume recruitment efforts preferably from Fintech company
  • Strong people management skills, should have worked in E2E & sourcing led recruiting model
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor with the help of sourcing and interview coordinating team
  • Extensive experience in building sourcing strategies including direct sourcing, agency usage, etc
  • Experience managing high volume recruiting processes
  • Experience managing candidate life cycle through an applicant tracking system, preferably Workday
  • In-depth understanding of technology landscape and hiring trends in India
  • Strong background in IT hiring, preferably in Java and related technologies
  • Experience implementing talent acquisition programs/processes including candidate screening, assessment and selection in a fast-paced, high volume and matrixed environment
  • Track record delivering hiring results that meet business needs and expectations
  • Develop recruitment sourcing strategy including direct sourcing, agency usage, campus programs, etc.
  • Manage vendor relationships to support high volume recruiting efforts
  • Build partnerships with the leadership team to identify important talent needs and develop creative strategies to attract and assess talent
  • Ensure accurate records and reporting concerning all phases of the recruitment process

COVID-19 Considerations

In many locations, which may change over time, we’ve implemented a virtual hiring process and continue to interview candidates by video or phone. In addition, in some locations, only individuals who have been fully vaccinated will be permitted inside Mastercard offices until further notice.

In the US, Mastercard is a government contractor, which may legally require most Mastercard employees to be vaccinated unless a verified approved medical or religious exemption is granted. Further, we are currently making every effort towards having employees return to work in the office 2 days per week, if that makes sense for their team. Everyone must be vaccinated to enter Mastercard offices at this time. Therefore, we expect all candidates to be vaccinated or to be approved for a medical or religious accommodation prior to commencing work at Mastercard.
