Position Summary:

This position will work within Pharma Services Group to test ATLAS solution within Labeling services that will provide a world-class commerce experience for Fisher Clinical Services customers. The candidate must be able to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Must have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work independently in a team to conduct complex software testing activities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the requirements of the system under development and perform requirement analysis
  • Develop test cases and a test plan based on the requirements, specifications, and release schedules
  • Execute test cases described and documented in the test plan during the development cycle and formal product verification
  • Update test results in the test management system
  • Identify failures during test execution and log appropriate information needed into the defect tracking system to allow the developer to understand, reproduce, and address the issue
  • Exercise good judgment determining priority and severity of defects
  • Monitor defects resolution efforts and report defects status to technical lead
  • Retest the resolved defects and update test results in the test and defect management system

Experience:

Overall 2-3 years experience in the following:

  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience on Functional and Regression testing of desktop and web-based applications.
  • Proven working experience in software quality experience
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and determine the root cause of defects
  • Strong knowledge of software QC methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Hands-on experience on ALM Usage.
  • Must adapt to rapidly changing technologies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with attention to detail
