If this sounds like you, a role as a Senior Research Analyst within Medical Communications at Syneos Health is the perfect place to grow your career. In this role you will join a global team of Medical Communications experts specializing in high-science, high-touch peer-to-peer medical communications. The company excels in translating complex science into compelling messages that deliver value and action, building relationships and collaboration between the biopharmaceutical industry and healthcare professionals. Joining this global team as a Senior Research Analyst, you will be a critical contributor within our Medical Communications practice. You will support our teams in development of high-quality and strategic peer-reviewed publications, slide decks, and other high-science communications that deliver on our clients’ science and business strategy. As such, you will ensure the ensure the scientific accuracy of these deliverables through detailed review of the supporting evidence. In addition, you will conduct secondary research to inform project planning, develop new claims or scientific statements, and support identification and profiling of medical experts who may collaborate with our clients. Responsibilities Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following: Perform data and fact checks add annotations, editing, and literature search by obtaining information from published materials Support medical affairs business by performing quantitative gap analysis, KOL mapping, compilation of reports, analysis of competitor slide decks, extraction of data, and handling of medical information Closely interact with the global medical writing team and ensure review, approval, and availability of documents Accountable for managing all compound-related queries including development, editing, and approval of responses to medical inquiries, by obtaining information from client-provided sources (eg, safety, regulatory, development, research) and published materials Manage medical information system and database, including literature library Manage timely updates for all assigned products in collaboration with medical affairs and development teams Compile and select published evidence for products to support answers to health authorities Job Requirements MSc, M. Pharm, or equivalent with 3 years of clinical research experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Working knowledge of medical literature databases, including PubMed and/or EMBASE At Cadent , our workplace is flexible, family-oriented and places high importance on work-life balance.
