Jubilant Generics (JGL) is a wholly – owned subsidiary of Jubilant Pharma. JGL in India has Research & Development units at Noida and Mysore. It has two manufacturing facilities one at Mysore, Karnataka and another at Roorkee, Uttarakhand, engaged in APIs and Dosage manufacturing, respectively. The manufacturing location at Mysore is spread over 69 acres and it’s a USFDA approved site engaged in manufacturing of APIs, and caters to the sales worldwide. API portfolio focusses on Lifestyle driven Therapeutic Areas (CVS, CNS) and targets complex and newly approved molecules. The company is the market leader in four APIs and is amongst the top three players for another three APIs in its portfolio helping it maintain a high contribution margin. The manufacturing location at Roorkee, Uttarakhand is state of the art facility and is audited and approved by USFDA, Japan PMDA, UK MHRA, TGA, WHO and Brazil ANVISA. This business focusses on B2B model for EU, Canada and emerging markets. Both manufacturing units are backward- integrated and are supported by around 500 research and development professionals based at Noida and Mysore. R&D works on Development of new products in API, Solid Dosage Formulations of Oral Solid, Sterile Injectable, Semi-Solids Ointments, Creams and Liquids. All BA/BE studies are done In house at our 80 Bed facility which is inspected and having approvals /certifications from The Drugs Controller General (India) and has global regulatory accreditations including USFDA, EMEA, ANVISA (Brazil), INFRAMED (Portugal Authority), NPRA(Malaysia), AGES MEA (Austria) for GCP and NABL, CAP accreditations for Path lab services. JGL’s full-fledged Regulatory Affairs & IPR professionals ensures unique portfolio of patents and product filings in regulatory and non-regulatory market. Revenue of Jubilant Pharma is constantly increasing and during the Financial Year 2018 -19 it was INR 53,240 Million as compared to INR 39,950 Million during the Financial Year 2017-18. Position Title: Corporate Black Belt Designation & Level: Sr. Manager/ Manager Department: Business Excellence Business / Location Corporate Office – Greater Noida Required No: 1 Reporting To: Head Business Excellence Jubilant Pharmova Qualification: 1) Master/Bachelors degree in Pharmacy/ Engineering/ MBA 2) Strong Knowledge of Six Sigma, DFSS, QbD 3) Black Belt (Lean Six Sigma) certification 4) Advance level Data analytics/ data modeling/ Python Certification 5) PMP certification is preferred 6) Knowledge of cGMP is preferred Experience Profile: – Minimum experience desired is 3+ years in Pharma Industry – Work experience with leading consulting organizarion is preffered – Hands-on experience in Six Sigma, DFSS, Lean – Exposure of Digital Transformation through AI/ML use Mathematical Modeling using Python/ other programming language — Strong Knowledge of advance MS-Excel solver based modeling — Proven training abilities & excellent execution skills — Should have handled R&D, Manufacturing related improvement projects / programs — Must have worked in Pharma Plant Operations Industry / Sector specific: Pharmaceutical, Foods JOB SUMMARY PURPOSE OF JOB 1) Works as SME (subject Matter Expert) for Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, DFSS. Strategize and drive various Business Excellence Initiatives in Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, New Product Development in terms of process improvements & innovation to create additional bottom-line impact 2) Debottlenecking and practical / Hands on experience in manufacturing set-up 3) Facilitate Business in solving complex business/ operations problems using data modeling/ optimizers 4) Deploy Lean principles for optimizing process efficiencies amongst support functions KEY DELIVERABLES 1) Use advance data analytic tools for exploring opportunities of Process optimization, 2) Identify opportunities for development and improvement in Process and Operations in line with company goals, strengths and limitations. 3) To identify cost reduction, capacity enhancement, process improvements & Innovation projects across the location for each of the plants. 4) Run capacity simulation, identify bottlenecks & exploit bottlenecks by using Lean, Six Sigma or TOC approach 5) Creating infrastructure for improvement projects 6) Reviewing & Mentoring Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt projects teams to successful completion of projects and ensuring desired savings and benefits to the Organization. 7) Collaborate with Business Unit Heads and Functional Heads to seek their support and involvement for timely completion of process improvement and cost reduction projects in each of the Business units. 8) Mentor new Product development programs at Jubilant using QbD/DFSS FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES 1) Simulation & Modeling using SAS based data analytics tools, Business Intelligence tools like Tableau/ Power BI 2) Very Strong Knowledgeable & Hands-on experience on QbD, Design of Experiments(DoE) / DFSS / IFSS / Statistics 3) Hands-on experience in lean, six sigma, value stream mapping & theory of constraints 4) Knowledge of QbD, cGMP, Technology Transfer 5) Trouble-shooting, improving efficiencies & product quality and reducing utility consumption norms 6) Process data analysis for improvements in design and optimization of operating conditions. 7) Scale up of designs, techno commercial feasibility studies Simulation & Modeling 8) Experience in preparation of Basic Engineering Package ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTING STRUCTURE Position reports to Head – Business Excellence Pharma OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION (SPECIFIC TO BUSINESS)
