Job description: About the Team
The Products Onboarding (Go To Market) Team within the Salesforce Practice is responsible for Onboarding Elsevier Products and Acquisitions into our new Salesforce CPQ Quote to Cash (Q2C) Platform. The Q2C platform is one of our key assets and is considered strategic to our business/customer success. It offers end to end digitalization of the Sales and Order Management Process. The team responsible for the Q2C platform is rapidly growing as we add new capabilities, users and products to it.
The Role
This is an exciting and high visibility role with ample opportunities to learn, contribute and grow.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business/technology stakeholders in shaping requirements
Perform technical analysis, Design and Implementation of required Solutions to facilitate Product Onboarding
Demonstrate Prototypes early in the Onboarding Journey working alongside the team
Leverage best practices when it comes to design and development on the Salesforce Q2C platform with Large Volume and other performance considerations
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain, enhance, and develop the Salesforce Q2C platform
Troubleshoot and address issues raised from testing cycles
Ability to gather data migration requirements, define a data migration plan and perform data migrations
Perform Peer Review of solutions and ensure highest quality deliverables
Skills and Experience
Required
Should have 3-5 years of hands-on development experience with the Salesforce Platform
Expertise in Salesforce Platform Configuration
Expertise understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations
Expertise in developing Apex Classes, Apex Triggers & SOQL
Familiar to Salesforce Lightning (LWC) development/support
Familiar to Data Migration Tools such as Salesforce Data Loader etc
Exposure to Salesforce DevOps, life cycle management and source control
Should have excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in Agile and fast faced environments
Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce certified Platform App Builder
Salesforce Certified Developer (PD1)
Education – BE/BTech/MCA/MTech
Preferred
Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
Exposure to Salesforce CPQ is a plus
Exposure to Salesforce Advanced Approval, Aptus(Conga) Approvals is a plus
Exposure to Conga Contract Life Cycle Management package is a plus
