About Team: The Enterprise Technology & Operations (ETO) team partners with the business and other IT groups to define, manage, test, validate and deliver the strategic direction and operational performance of Enterprise Applications and Systems for Thermo Fisher Scientific. Our enterprise applications manage business-critical activities like order taking and fulfillment, manufacturing and managing new product development and launch, sales and customer management, data and document management, and business insights . Discover Impactful Work: In this role, you will be responsible for working with the business analyst teams to convert the given business requirements into technical solutions and implement them in the Salesforce platform for our product and customers where you will be a part of meaningful implications to the world. Is also responsible for documenting and implementing standard methodologies in the system to ensure its stability of the system. Keys to Success: The Salesforce Developer must have experience in Apex programming, Lightning, VF pages, Web services, and strong process knowledge . Should have worked on end-to-end Implementation projects on the Salesforce platform. Overall, the Developer should have very deep technical abilities, a sound understanding of Salesforce.com platform capability, and experience in governance and management of the tool. Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Salesforce.com Platform Developer certification is preferred. Any additional Salesforce certifications are a plus. Responsibilities: IT experience that includes 5 to 8 years in SalesForce.com CRM Platform both as Administrator and Developer Meeting with project managers to determine CRM needs. Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications. Creating timelines and development goals. Testing the stability and functionality of the application. Troubleshooting and fixing bugs. Writing documents and providing technical training for Salesforce staff. Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software. Developing Apex Classes and Triggers, as well as test classes for all custom development Custom user interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components. Analyzed Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Support business processes used by salesforce.com customers and recommended ways to improve their processes using Salesforce.com. Experience in Integrating Salesforce with other 3rd party applications. Hands-on experience in DevOps deployment process using Github, ANT, etc Knowledge of AWS and integration with Salesforce. Experience in integration of Salesforce.com applications with other applications with an emphasis on Web Services/XML. Strong admin skills to set up customized and out-of-box functionalities. Having administration Config experience on CRM applications like data exports &imports, application support, security administration, CMC maintenance, and release management. Design and Building user interfaces, frameworks, components, navigation elements, and customization for an extensive, highly interactive cloud-based business application. Functional Expertise in Salesforce Automation (SFA), Marketing Automation, and Case Management. Experience in web technologies like HTML, XML, CSS, JSP, JavaScript, DL, and SOAP. Have end-to-end knowledge of Agile Methodology, worked with Scrum Masters, and IM PMs on requirements. Solid Understanding of implementing Design Patterns (Creational, Structural, Behavioral). Experience in developing an integrated Quality Management system on the Salesforce.com Platform. Efficient in implementing Partner or Customer Communities modules of Salesforce. Experience in Batch Apex and Schedule Apex Development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective troubleshooting mechanisms and highly adaptable to different work environments Other Skills and Abilities : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills attention to detail is critical for this role. Ability to develop solutions that reduce the total cost of ownership over the long run.
