About the internship

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct research on current scholarly communication trends/news
2. Develop and execute a social media strategy through our competitive research
3. Design and implement social media strategy to align with our target audience (researchers, scholars, scientists, professors, universities, and publishers)
4. Create a weekly social media content calendar and schedule them according to the best time slots that work well for us
5. Create, edit, and publish daily social media content that builds connections and intrigues the academic community to engage with the content (e.g., text, photos, videos, and news)
6. Come up with a theme every week (for example: research writing, literature review, plagiarism in research writing, open access, etc.) and craft content around it
7. Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then act on the information
