ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS
As a global supplier of solder technologies, fluxes, cleaners and other attachment materials for the electronics assembly industry, we develop innovative materials that join electronic circuits in high volume device manufacturing. Our high-performing interconnect materials are used to assemble consumer electronics from circuit boards, discrete electronic components, connectors and integrated circuit substrates.
Job Purpose
- Key Goals of this position are as follows:
- Undertake materials and product structure-property correlation testing and evaluation,
- Process development for new and existing products,
- Customer supporting application projects and customer trials.
Job Responsibilities
- Use creative problem-solving approaches to develop new test metrology for the development of next-generation materials, products and application methods for Flexible, Formable & Printed Electronics (FFPE), Transparent Conducting Films and Nanomaterials for Sintering Applications, etc.
- He/She is expected to design and develop Functional Technology Demonstrators for customer engagements and trade-shows.
- He/She is expected to be capable of designing DOE, and utilizing other quality tools to study process windows, should have good knowledge on industrial acceptance standards and be capable of developing appropriate testing instrumentation and test vehicles.
- He/She is expected to conduct experiments in the laboratory and apply scientific practices and knowledge for product testing and evaluation. Be able to undertake scientific experiments and engineering testing in the laboratory in a systematic and safe manner.
- He/She is expected to use industry best practices for technical problem solving, such as Six Sigma, Statistical Process Optimization, DOEs, ANOVA, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (Fish Bone, Ishikawa, etc.) to establish robust application process recipes/parameters/guidelines. Produces necessary reports and SOPs.
- He/She is expected to take responsibility for data analysis, documentation of laboratory procedures and results, writing progress and final reports.
- He/She is expected to prepare technical reports and summaries for group presentations demonstrating product performance for internal and external customer submission.
