In this role you will join a global team of Medical Communications experts specializing in high-science, high-touch peer-to-peer medical communications. The company excels in translating complex science into compelling messages that deliver value and action, building relationships and collaboration between the biopharmaceutical industry and healthcare professionals. As part of this team as a Medical Writer, you will be a critical contributor within our Medical Affairs and Publications practice. Working with a global team, you will take ideas and input from external authors and turn them into flawless, evidence-based publications of the highest quality. In doing so you will also partner with Principal and Senior Medical writers to ensure strategic alignment, accuracy, credibility, and quality of the manuscripts, literature reviews, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and other written pieces you develop with author direction. Responsibilities Prepare manuscripts, literature reviews, abstracts, posters, and slide sets, working from various data sources including clinical study reports, patient profiles, protocols, etc Perform quality control (QC) checking/proofreading of literature reviews, abstracts, posters, and slide sets to meet client expectations Manage up to two assigned team projects at any given time Accurately incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders, including internal reviewers, clients, and external authors Comply with and support existing process, project management tools, standards, policies, and initiatives Follow internal or client-directed specifications for documentation and templates Follow and track with timelines and key milestones for assigned projects Maintain records for all assigned projects, including archiving Maintain audit, SOP, and training compliance Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as Datavision updates Job Requirements MSc, M. Pharm, or equivalent with 3-4 years of clinical research experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Working knowledge of medical literature databases, including PubMed and/or EMBASE At Cadent , our workplace is flexible, family-oriented and places high importance on work-life balance.
