IEO Operations Center Lab is at the heart of a worldwide lab operations team providing 24×7 lab access, service and solutions support in multiple locations. Independent and flexible, team members are always ready to adapt to the changing daily priorities. They make an impact in all kinds of ways – from installing and maintaining servers and storage equipment within the fast-paced lab computing environment, through to providing top-level technical expertise and support to engineering departmental users. What’s more, they work with engineering teams to create hardware configuration test plans in support of software development.

What you’ll achieve
As a Sr. Software System Engineer, you will be responsible for the production and engineering interfacing systems. You’ll gain extensive experience with high-end storage, network and virtualization solutions. You will work with IT professionals globally, supporting groups of engineers from different storage divisions
You will:
Installing and maintaining servers and storage equipment within the fast-paced lab computing environment, through to providing top-level technical expertise and support to engineering departmental users

Essential Requirements
- VMware infrastructure
- Networking: Dell, Cisco, Arista & Brocade
- Linux administration and Shell scripting: Oracle, RedHat, CentOS, SLES & Ubuntu
- Docker / Kubernetes / Tanzu
- Orchestration technology: Ansible / Jenkins / Spacewalk
Desirable Requirements
- Ability to automate activities using Python
- Monitoring tools: Nagios, SolarWinds & Grafana
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and PowerShell
