What you’ll achieve

This position is responsible for managing all security aspects of platform services, including VMware / Linux / Windows platform, this is a hands-on technical position, and a deep knowledge of infrastructure Security is crucial for immediate success

This position will be responsible for to assist customers with EDR/AV deployments and troubleshooting, you will also be responsible helping customers implement security assessments against infrastructure. Works with engineering departments to develop successful measurements to establish metrics. Demonstrates a high degree of self-initiative. Performs other duties as required.

You will:

• Be responsible for participating in the development of test configuration plans for the lab computing environment infrastructure. Maintain a working knowledge of all documented processes and procedures. Identifies opportunities for improvements in efficiency and responsiveness, makes recommendations and assists to implement efficiencies.
• Identify high risk vulnerabilities and work on remediation plans and coordinate with various product lines to remediate the systems.
• Work extensively on Window / Linux patch management tools and work on regular patching cycles to keep the systems patched up to date to meet the compliance requirements.
• Extensive knowledge on endpoint security solutions i.e., MacAfee End point Security and VMware carbon block EDR solutions.

• Monitor technology and security developments to ensure the Organization security framework follows industry best practices. Organize knowledge sharing sessions with other internal teams such as Operations team, Security and End user teams.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 6 years overall IT experience and 6-8 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux patch management tools and procedures
• Extensive knowledge of End point security deployment and troubleshooting i.e Mcafee end point security and EDR
• Proficiency in Operating System administration
• Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies
• Scripting and automation experience, especially using PowerShell, Linux

Desirable Requirements

• Infrastructure Security Management / Patch Management / Vulnerability Management
• Windows / Linux / VMWare / End point Security Management / EDR solutions
