What you’ll achieve

As a Lab Support Engineer , you will be responsible for ensuring the development lab infrastructure is always available for our world class product development teams and specific setup requirements on hardware, Networking configurations and Operating System deployment are carried out as per the needs of the Engineering teams. You will also ensure the development environment meets the security standards as per the Security and Resiliency office guidelines and stay updated with the latest OS and Firmware patches are updated in all servers and Virtual machines used by the product development teams

You will work with other latest generation of Dell PowerEdge Server, Storage and Networking infrastructure setups and ensure the required configurations are provided to the engineers in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for keeping the security compliance level of the development infrastructure at the prescribed level
You will:

• Deploy & maintain HW & SW infrastructure for product development teams
• Review & Prepare vulnerability reports and Collaboratively work towards remediating identified vulnerabilities in the Product Development environment
• Implement security improvements by Performing regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant and assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements .
• Set up and deploy patch management systems to update applications automatically including endpoint detection and prevention (Ex: Nexpose & Anti-Virus) tools

Essential Requirements

• Hands On experience of 5+years working with Hardware Infrastructure setup consisting of Dell PowerEdge servers, Storage enclosures and Networking switches and ensure efficient deployment as per the specifications provided by the Development Teams
• System administration with good knowledge on Network protocols and System/OS security and Anti-Virus
• Understanding of OS’es technology (i.e. Microsoft Windows, Linux “RHEL , SUSE , Ubuntu , etc..” , VMware ESXi) and VMware technology
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements.
• Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data (e.g. NetFlow, FPC), and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations

Desirable Requirements

• Information security policy definition and implementation. Certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, CISSP or CASP and/or SIEM-specific training and certification
• Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions (e.g. Nexpose, Qualys , Nessus). Proficiency with any of the following: Host-Based Forensics & Network Forensics
