What you’ll achieve

As a IT Security Governance you will have responsibility for contributing significant experience and technical skillset into Dell’s Infrastructure Solution Group expanding and complex security infrastructure environment. You will be considered a technical subject-matter expert in various security infrastructure technologies, architecture, designs, systems implementation, integration and will assist in the development and communication of authoritative security infrastructure-focused policies, standards, guidelines, and control requirements. You will be required to perform technical research when necessary to contribute to setting security infrastructure direction and strategy and will also partner closely with teams across Dell Infrastructure Solution Group to ensure the success of various security infrastructure programs and projects.

You will:

  • Define security requirements and architectures while engaging directly with stakeholders within Dell’s Business Units and the Information Technology organizations to ensure products, services and solutions are designed to adhere to those requirements across Dell’s private, hybrid and public Cloud environments
  • Support the development of technical solutions that meet regulatory requirements including, but not limited to EU GDPR, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, etc.
  • Engage, as a technical subject-matter expert, directly with stakeholders within Dell’s Business Units and Information Technology organizations to ensure products, services and solutions are designed to adhere to identified security requirements, controls and best practices
  • Coordinate with system architects and developers to provide guidance in creating and integrating secure designs. Provide-risk based recommendations to Executive leaders which address unsanctioned applications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations performed and findings, risks and/or issues identified

Essential Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in areas information security/cybersecurity with foundational knowledge of general application, cloud, and network security concepts.
  • 1+ years in Security Consulting with previous hands-on experience with multiple security technologies such as Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Vulnerability Scanning, WAF, Wireless LAN, NAC, DLP, DDoS Mitigation, WAN security, SIEM, Content Filtering, Cloud Security gateways, Secure Proxies, SSL crypto solutions
  • Detailed technical knowledge and experience with network security, authentication, security protocols, access control, cryptography, application security and data protection. Proven success with the following technologies: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, VMware virtualization solutions, Pivotal, Windows and Linux based platforms, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies, including Information security frameworks, standards, best practices and information security and data protection regulations.
  • Pragmatic, results-driven, value focused, and accountability minded.

Desirable Requirements

  • Information Security Certification(s) – e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, AZ-500, MS-500
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or related field
