What you’ll achieve As Lab Support Engineer – Tools & Automation, will develop tools and automations for better system management, and provide support for all the existing Lab Tools Infrastructure, Applications, and software’s. You will use your technical knowledge and specialized skills to support, build, implement, and improve technology solutions. Adhere to administrative policies and escalation procedures. You will be actively expanding your scope of knowledge by learning about new technologies, procedures and help to resolve complex customer issues. You must possess good written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations. Demonstrates a high degree of self-initiative. Must be able to adapt to the changing daily priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment. Performs other duties as required. You will: Design, development and deploy tools for lab management of networking and computing infrastructure or test setups and software as required. Be responsible for the support of the Software tools/Applications and its infrastructure used by the Engineering Team. Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting the technical environment for problems. Identify system performance issues and help develop tools for better system management. Ensure that all services are consistently available to all end users and provide technical assistance and consulting to the users if necessary. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Expertise on Python scripting for automations/integrations and application development, using Rest API, Json, XML and webservices, server side languages used for scripting – nodeJs/FastAPI Expertise on Web GUI development using VueJS/Angular, Databases – MySql/MSSQL and experience in accessing system management & operational data vial API/logs/consoles outputs. Knowledge of CI/CD and systems used like Jenkins, working and supporting Linux environment.
