Job description: Engineering Manager

You will be Responsible for :

– Ensure key initiatives and engineering activities are performed following industry best practices and as per organization’s needs.

– Communicate effectively with customers, product and other stakeholders and deliver IT products and solutions that help grow business.

– Work closely with architects and other leaders and ensure solutions implemented adhere to the organization’s vision and direction at the same time challenging any decision in case of any conflicts.

– Review design, implementation, validate artifacts developed for all initiatives and ensure it meets expected quality standards.

– Work collaboratively with other teams, peers and groups and resolve any conflict scenarios amicably.

– Exhibit extraordinary technical and problem-solving skills and resolve any engineering issues that come up.

– Assign tasks to team members, gauge progress of all initiatives. Work closely with the team and provide timely constructive feedback. Manage Issue/conflict resolution within the team.

– Hire, train and mentor team members and grow the organization.

– Effectively delegate work to others enabling quick closure on activities and not become a bottleneck.

– Stay abreast of the latest in the field of technology and engage in continuous exploration of new ideas that can be operationalized in enterprise applications.
