– Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and newer, Oracle 12c and newer versions
– Expert-level knowledge of database architectures
– Extensive experience of writing Transact SQL/SQL,P/SQL, Stored procedures, Views, Triggers, – Functions and other db objects
– Ability to analyze existing code in both PL/SQL and shell script and determine impacts and remediation.
– Experience using SQL Server tools such as SSIS, BCP, bulk insert and others
– Optimize and tune database schemas, stored procedures, triggers, and dynamic queries
– Expertise in unit testing, End to end integration testing and break fix support of ETL and PL-SQL/TSQL objects
– Design and develop new and tune existing SQL queries as needed
– Build data pipelines for migrating on-premise data sources to the cloud
– Create complex queries to derive intelligence from the data
– Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to optimize queries and troubleshoot errors
– Experience in agile software development process
– Familiarity with Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence) a plus
– Must have hands on experience in Linux shell scripting
– Document technical designs and program logic
– Participate in functional and technical reviews
– Design, develop and implement automated solutions to transfer and import files
– Ability to resolve and troubleshoot complex issues as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed solutions, reports and dashboards for both external and internal users.
– Ability to work collaboratively with or lead cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
– Ability to drive consensus within a team and influence outcomes in significant technical decision-making.
