This role will be aligned with ZS R&D Excellence Practice Area and will be responsible for leading and enhancing our service in Regulatory ZS’s Business Technology Solutions team is responsible to lead end to end responsibility of project across all phases i.e., discovery, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing and operations. In addition, this team configures ZS’s proprietary software used to streamline business processes for commercial groups at client organizations. This team takes overall ownership of the solution delivery, managing operations services, client stakeholder management, contribute to business development and selling activities, project planning and team management. Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Consultant – PV & Safety, with thorough knowledge and understanding of pharmacovigilance domain, will be responsible for guiding the product development with requirements to build product. In this role, your responsibilities will comprise of the following: Responsibilities Practice and asset building Bring PV & Safety domain knowledge to help identify top use cases that remain unsolved for clients Identify opportunities in PV & safety to build assets that are common solutions for common business problems across clients (assets = frameworks or accelerators or products) Lead and guide team consisting of developers and testers, to address safety use cases leading not only end to end delivery, but addressing the use case effectively to solve the business problem Guide architects on understanding PV & safety data, and safety related functionalities that might be needed in a software solution Guide project teams on GxP compliance requirements to guide software development Showcase safety technology capabilities via presentations, demos etc. to clients Work with customers to elicit their safety related pain points and translate complex client problems into technical requirements. Client project delivery Ownership to ensure the proposed design/ architecture, deliverables meet the client expectation and solve the business problem with high degree of quality Lead one or more projects at a time, based on the role and time commitment required for the project Work in tandem with global counterparts in planning and accomplishing planned activities, identification or risks and mitigation strategy Build relationship with client stakeholders and lead presentations related to project deliverables, design brainstorming / discussion, status updates, innovation/ improvements, etc. Thought leadership Creation of POVs on PV & safety technology evolution by exploring new possible architectural advancements and evaluate its applicability in safety, understanding emerging new use cases in safety to evaluate how technology can address those etc. Participate in internal and external discussions at ZS in bringing forth new ideas and solicit input feedback to further advance the safety practice and position ZS as a thought leader in this space Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other computer related disciplines 4-8 years of relevant industry experience working on medium-large scale technology solution delivery engagements, with minimum 8 years of experience in Safety and PV Strong technical knowledge and expertise on PV processes Thorough knowledge of Safety Databases (like Argus, ArisG etc.) and their corresponding data models Good understanding of Data Lake / Big Data concepts, experience working on Designing and Solutioning of data lakes, to be able to design end-to-end solutions Knowledge of relevant regulations like ICH-E2B, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11 Experience in designing and driving delivery of mid-large-scale solutions Exposure working in distributed computing and cloud services platform Understanding of existing PV Technology and Innovation landscape Additional Skills Strong client presence. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical concepts to all audiences Ability to manage a virtual global team environment that contributes to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting the interaction between databases, operating systems, and applications Significant supervisory, coaching and hands-on project management skills Willingness to travel to other global offices, as needed, to work with client or other internal project teams ZS is a global consulting firm. Fluency in English is required additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
