About the department

Global IT India was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Global IT in HQ. From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 500+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT India is to ‘manage’ IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management.

The Position

You will be responsible for handling incidents and supporting GITO (Global IT Organization) PI (Production Infrastructure) operation teams for services and production critical systems on PSNet monitored by GITO (Global IT Organization) PI (Production Infrastructure) monitoring dashboard. The monitoring dashboard is a customized solution/system used for surveillance and monitoring of IT infrastructure and production systems across all the areas in Product Supply and will enable an effective way to handle incident, within PSnet.

As a Business Analyst you will have the following responsibilities:

• Supervising daily operations and maintenance of GITO (Global IT Organization) PI (Production Infrastructure) services within PSnet. Supporting, Operating and Ensuring maintenance of the monitoring platform in full coordination with the GITO (Global IT Organization) PI (Production Infrastructure) Product areas, external partners, and suppliers. Manage Monitoring of GITO (Global IT Organization) PI (Production Infrastructure) platforms and services within agreed KPIs and to the satisfaction of relevant stakeholders.
• Handle incidents/warnings and driving them towards resolution. You will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are executed in compliance with internal and external regulations, quality requirement and completed according to the agreed objectives. You will be expected to be able to assist, drive and manage Incident process in the areas affecting systems, infrastructure and security posing threats to availability and business continuity.
• Manage critical and major incidents related to Monitoring Dashboard platform, including restoration of services, communication to stakeholders etc. As being the central team to manage incidents working in a 24 x 7 setup is required.
• To comply with relevant internal, external, and regulatory requirements as mandated by Novo Nordisk.
• Ensure that all IT security and compliance requirements of Novo Nordisk are met. Ensure that IT Security issues and queries are addressed to the relevant IT Security and Compliance teams

You will ensure open and honest communications with multiple stakeholders in PSnet, production factories and plants and follow-up on monitoring and surveillance incidents. It will be expected of you to timely and effectively communicate with Stakeholders. Actively identify IT or business process opportunities and communicate to Product owners in GITO (Global IT Organization) PI (Production Infrastructure) on continuous basis.

Qualifications

• Masters or similar graduate degree field in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration combined with additional relevant IT and business experience.
• 5+ years of experience into IT industry or equivalent working within IT technologies (CISCO, Microsoft, Citrix, VMware…)
• 3+ years of expertise in IT Infrastructure and Application management. Hold a sound knowledge of the IT infrastructure and service architecture.
• Solid understanding and work experience with Connectivity platform (Routing, Switching and Firewalls), Virtualization, Active Directory and SCOM (System Centre Operations Manager). Monitoring operational support preferable.
• 3+years of experience in monitoring of networks and windows is a must. Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in Stakeholder & Vendor management.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in trouble-shooting Infrastructure cases in tandem with Application/Operating system issues.
• Solid understanding and work experience in Physical and Virtual Desktop (VDI) environments, TCP/IP networking, AD, DNS, SMTP, NTP and IMAP.
• Knowledge of and experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, 21 CFR Part 11)

• Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills.
• Proficient stakeholder, communication skills and high degree of GxP Infrastructure compliance.
