The AI team is responsible for building and deploying innovative AI solutions for all divisions within Mastercard securing a competitive advantage. Our objectives include achieving operational efficiency, improving customer experience, and ensuring robust value propositions of our core products (Credit, Debit, Prepaid) and services (recommendation engine, anti-money laundering, fraud risk management, cybersecurity). Job Description: This position sits in AI/ML product engineering team. The team is looking for a Platform support engineer(Level 1 support) who can help us solve and triage problems, monitor our spark on Hadoop or K8S based deployments etc. Person would be required to support daily operations with a distinct focus on triage, impact mitigation and root cause identification through a depth of knowledge for corresponding technology of products. . Are you a container administration geek or like to work on Hadoop based jobs . Have you played a key role in supporting applications (mission critical) . Willing to scale Kubernetes based security and other administration skills Role . Contribute to efforts to enable engineering teams responsible for implementing production readiness, engineering compliances for MasterCard AI/ML applications or products. . Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity. . Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. . Practice proactively Kubernetes based application deployment and environment readiness. . Support deployments of code into multiple lower environments. Supporting current processes needed with an emphasis on automating everything as soon as possible. .Assist the BizOps Application team and contribute where necessary at a technical level. .Support a highly available, highly secure production environment running on Linux using various different open source applications .Set standards and define detailed processes for effectively managing a production environment with minimal downtime .Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of all software infrastructure components All About You . Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience. . Background on container stack and Hadoop based deployment monitoring would be extra helpful. .Support deployments of code into multiple lower environments. Supporting current processes needed with an emphasis on automating everything as soon as possible. .Design and implement a Git based code management strategy that will support multiple environment deployments in parallel. Experience with automation for branch management, code promotions, and version management is a plus. . Experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl or Ruby . Strong understanding of all phases of a Software Development Life Cycle . Deliver time-saving process improvements that will be repeatable, maintainable, valuable, and fit into MasterCard’s Business Operations vision. . Self-motivated and highly collaborative .
