Job description: This position is in Cisco HCO (Crosswork Hierarchical Controller) product development group. This is an exciting initiative to work closely with the various Service Provider BUs in Cisco in developing management solutions around the various upcoming ground breaking technologies.

The Team:

This candidate in this position will work as part of Cisco Network Systems and Controller group developing Crosswork Hierarchical Controller product

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing test/automation.
  • Experience in web-based application, GUI Testing, Functional testing, Integration and system testing (performance, security, scale).
  • Chipping in to the successful execution of both an automation and regression strategy.
  • Candidate must also be able to assist with maintenance of the test network and the test lab.
  • Experience in troubleshooting in a large-scale network/NMS test environment.
  • Self-starter can work independently with minimal to no management supervision on sophisticated initiatives. Translates departmental goals in to own work assignments. Initiates some new responsibilities. Able to describe sophisticated technical issues to a variety of audiences. Listens to others and translates requests to personal action items. Collaborates with peers and more senior level Test Leads.

Skills & Qualifications:

Typically requires 5-8 years of related experience.

Skills required :

  • Designing and implementing test/automation for NMS/EMS platforms
  • Experience in automating web based application, GUI Testing, Functional testing, Integration and system testing (performance, security, scale)
  • Chipping in to the successful execution of both an automation and regression strategy.
  • Experience in troubleshooting in a large-scale network/NMS test environment
  • Self-starter can work independently with minimal to no management supervision on sophisticated initiatives. Translates departmental goals in to own work assignments. Initiates some new responsibilities. Able to describe complex technical issues to a variety of audiences. Listens to others and translates requests to personal action items. Collaborates with peers and more senior level Test Leads

Preferred:

  • Have experience working on API automation(REST+python preferred).
  • Have experience working on UI automation (Selenium + Python preferred).
  • Cisco Certification like CCIE, CCNP.
  • Good & deep knowledge in the following
  • NMS/EMS
  • Working knowledge in FCAPS
  • Working knowledge on Kubernetes and microservices architecture is preferred.
