To ensure the patient demographics are accurately captured in HIS from the Insurance card to avoid claim rejection2. To ensure the CPT, ICD codes are updated in HIS as per the coding & adjudication guidelines3. To verify the physician’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are accurately updated in HIS to avail payment for the claim4. To ensure the Claims are updated with correct authorization codes as per approval protocol of the payers5. Need to report to immediate supervisor regarding the deficiency of EMR issues, billing errors, medical necessity complaints, approval related issue to avoid claim rejection from payer.UAE Approval Process Job Description :1. Need to validate the approval request from Registration department of Clinics and send approval request to payer2. Assist the patient/physician in getting approval for the procedure from Payers via email or phone calls.3. Validate the CPT, ICDs in HIS & request approval for the procedures or services in payer portal or HIS4. Co-ordinate with physician/ payer to get approval for the services as per the authorization protocol.5. To ensure the Deductible, copay & coinsurance is updated in the HIS system as per the patient’s insurance card. (ref:biojoby.com)
