Job Description: Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies, is recruiting for a n Assistant Manager – Counselor Training to be located in Mumbai. Job Summary: The role is going to be responsible for development of hospital counselors, optometrists and paramedical staff through structured scientific educational training programs. Key Responsibilities: Ensures Counselors, Optometrists and other staff members are well equipped with knowledge of procedure and products. Contribute to reach & adoption goals in this segment through training initiatives across assigned product ranges. Ensure internal & external customer delight and help grow assigned category. Educate & make JJSV brands the preferred choice through training. Build and track opportunities for internal team members. Build in house training plan/s as per customer requirement and implement it. Maintain a positive relationship with customers with the goal of growing IOL revenue by assessment, critique and training. Communicate and empower customers via direct meetings and interactions with surgeons, administrators and key decision makers. Augment the sales efforts in competition account conversion. Qualifications Education: A bachelor’s degree in Science /Instrumentation/ Optometry is mandatory. A master’s degree or a post grad/MBA will be an added advantage. Experience & Skills: Should have 5 years of working experience as a trainer/counselor/Optometrist/Sales domain with detailed understanding of managed care. An Optometrist with an experience of delivering trainings would highly be preferred. Proficiency in English & Hindi – knowledge of Bengali is desirable due to location needs. Trainings to be conducted in a Hybrid model – 70% online & 30% in-person. The 30% travel is entirely on need basis – territories included for travel is West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand & parts of northeastern India. Are you ready to impact the world?
