Job description: Title : Medical OfficerLocation : GurgaonRole : Overall In charge for Patient Care at Rehabilitation CentreDuties And Responsibilities : – MEDICAL CARE – Responsible for complete resident medical care (care & comfort to ensure resident completes desired care plan)- Contributing clinical expertise to patient care and providing guidance to junior physicians.- Performing administrative duties and risk management.- Ensuring the highest standards in patient care are maintained.- Verifying complex diagnoses and facilitating treatment plans.- Reviews patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status. – Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history. – Examines patients for symptoms or physical information.- Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition. – Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnoses condition of patient. – Administers or prescribes treatments. – Determines and prescribes medication, dosage and schedule given the patient’s condition and allergies.- Discusses any possible side effects to medication or immunization with patient. – Prescribes vaccinations to immunize patient from communicable diseases. – Promotes health by advising patients about diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT- Liaison/update of the Care Plan with primary consultants/ referring doctors and/or other specialist consultants as required to ensure that they see HCAH as a valuable partner in the continuum of care for their patients. – PERSONNEL- To manage, motivate and engage all nursing & medical staff and ensure high level of engagement, motivation, welfare and cordial working environment at Center.Qualifications And Experience : – 3-5 years in (3 years- experience in ICU/Casualty-Emergency/Post Op ward)- Qualification : MBBS with masters preferred, Clinical care experience mandatory- NCI cleared (Mandatory)- Excellent clinical skills and acumen required.- Excellent communication skills to be seen as a person of trust and authority on transition care by patients, their families and consultants.
