Job Description We are looking for a knowledgeable neurosurgeon to be responsible for performing surgeries to assist in rectifying medical conditions that affect the spinal cord, brain, and peripheral nerves. The neurosurgeon will oversee and coordinate a team of surgeons and nurses to perform surgeries to remove tumors, relieve chronic pain, and treat wounds, vascular disorders, and diseases. Neurosurgeon Responsibilities: Overseeing and coordinating teams of surgeons and nurses in the operating theater. Operating microscopes for surgeries to perform microsurgeries. Ordering, performing, and interpreting results of diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, PET scans, and CT scans. Assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing treatments, and monitoring the patients’ progress. Meeting with families of patients in surgery and keeping them updated. Handling unscheduled emergency surgeries. Working with psychiatrists, therapists, and neurologists, and consulting with other departments. Performing basic administrative and business tasks, such as keeping records, writing prescriptions, and filling out paperwork. Keeping up with new discoveries and attending academic conferences. Requirements: MBBS from an accredited institution. PhD or specialization Board (or equivalent) in from an accredited institution. (In case of specialization from Royal College, CCT or CCST certificate is needed) 5+ years clinical experience after specialization certificate. Valid and active license to practice medicine in country of origin. In-depth knowledge of current medical treatments and procedures. Adherence to up-to-date guidelines. Great attention to detail with excellent analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to think and act quickly in a stressful environment. Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting. Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments and health regimens to treat patient health issues. Experience collaborating with specialists to explore patient health conditions and diagnose health issues. Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
