Job Description
The Senior Analyst Quality Engineering will be part of a specialist team/community working across all disciplines (Test Automation, Service Virtualization and Quality Analytics), to deliver and execute industry best practice. Expectation is that the delivery of such practices will result in a service that is performant, resilient, efficient and aligns precisely with business functional expectations.
This role will support the Asset Servicing business with several key initiatives and projects planned or currently in-flight and on the Direct Client Reporting team supports the technology for the Asset Servicing data warehouses, online client reporting tool among others.
Experience
- It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following qualifications and experience
- 5-7years In quality engineering practices Testing experience
- Experience coaching integrated teams including developers to ensure systems are designed for testability.
- Experience in strategic development and implementation of Quality Engineering solutions (Automation Frameworks, Performance Validation)
- Work with Test management tools: qTest
- Be documenting test cases and performing testing related activities.
- Contribute towards the testing of system defects.
- Demonstrate Experience in strategic development and implementation of Quality Engineering solutions (Automation Frameworks, Performance Validation)
- Demonstrate experience working with cloud providers like AWS, and/or Azure.
- Demonstrate strong coding in Java, JavaScript and experience with API, JSON, Cucumber, Selenium, and related technology solutions.
Demonstrate proficiency in working with Oracle, Postgres and MS SQL.
Desirable
Exposure in working with Data warehouse ETL processes with tools such as SSIS.
Exposure to performance test engineering tools such as Gatlin and JMeter
Essential capabilities
- Experience in providing technology client service
- Proven ability to use relevant data analytics approaches and tools to problem-solve and trouble-shoot.
- Knowledge & experience with Build languages

Key Accountabilities
- Delivering quality application change across various platforms through analysis, planning, creation and execution of User Acceptance Test designs, cases, and procedures.
- Liaising with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure that planned testing meets their requirements.
- Acquiring and analysing all relevant documents for assigned projects to determine testing requirements.
- Consulting on testing matters to business and IT project managers.
- Executing Test cases for all assigned projects/enhancements.
- Raising any defects found during test and escalating in accordance with set procedures.
- Tracking progress of allocated test designs and test cases to ensure testing deadlines will be met.
- Ensuring Test environments are properly established to control and monitor end-to-end Testing of applications and infrastructure components.
- Identifying, revising, and enhancing adherence to processes and standards used within the Test function.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to engage stakeholders.
- Designing and writing test automation scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing
- Using test automation frameworks
