What will your job look like?
Design, Development, Implementation, and maintenance of new business requirements for Telecom Billing systems.
- Technical ownership and end-to-end accountability of Complex business Change Requests, starting design, coding, testing, till implementation in production, ownership to deliver high code quality.
- Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code and providing fixes (analyzes and fixes bugs) and workarounds, will review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions, will highlight risks and will help mitigate risks from technical aspects.
- Maintain continuous working relationship with the customer, participate in meetings, and handle requirement analysis, escalations, and urgent business intakes.
- Bring Innovation & continuous improvement in existing software by utilizing advanced software engineering tools, automation of complex activities, reducing design complexity and simplified client/end-user interface.
All you need is…
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
- Minimum experience: 5+ years
- Knowledge of Software development cycle and software methodologies e.g. Waterfall, Agile
- 5+ years of Java Development experience with strong Core Java , J2EE , Servlets, JMS, Spring AOP/MVC and Application Server skills.
- Hands-on experience of Web Services – RESTFUL /SOAP and usage of Tools like SOAP UI/ Postman
- Knowledge of Apache Camel, EIP patterns and Microservices architecture .
- Good to have knowledge of Dockers, Kubernetes, Jenkins pipelines.
- Hands-on in TDD/JUnits, Building projects using Maven commands and understanding of POM .
- Knowledge of version control systems preferably Perforce.
- Knowledge of Unix, SQL and XML.
- Hands-on experience Development Tool like Eclipse, PL/SQL Developer, JBoss EAP
- Knowledge of Telecom Billing – BSS, Account/Service Lifecyle, Order Orchestration/BPM etc. preferably knowledge of Kenan FX/C1 products.
