Description Roles & Responsibilities Team building and steering the team members to achieve the targets set by the management on exports product certification Plan and ensure team members development through relevant training Establish seamless communication with all the export market counterparts in relevant countries regarding product certification, timeline, existing and future regulations, etc Monitor the team performance on regular basis and advice the team members for corrections to improve the output Regular update and escalation (on needed basis) to top management to ensure proper execution of all the tasks assigned to the team Technical skill set needed: Knowledge of the relevant emission and safety regulation for commercial vehicles and the type-approval process Experience in dealing with type-approval authorities and technical services Knowledge in ECE/EEC/Indian CMVR/AIS regulations Knowledge in regulation reading and interpretation is required Exposure to emerging technologies like e-drive, alternate fuels (CNG, LNG, H2-Fuel cell, H2 – ICE) Soft skills Good know how on entire vehicle, Systems and sub-systems Hands on vehicle testing and driving experience Interpersonal and Co-ordination skill Good negotiation skills on technical contents Planning and project management Proactive mind set on driving regulation topics for implementation in products Good analytical and logical thinking ability Reading, understanding and de-coding of new regulations and de-briefing to all stakeholders Good presentation and communication skills Assertiveness as well as the ability to work in a team Software Skills Microsoft excel, Word, PowerPoint presentation, power BI Qualifications Qualifications: Master/ Bachelor/Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical engineering disciplines Professional Experience: 10+ years of automotive OEM experience in Homologation related function
