• Engage with customers to build innovative solutions
• Work closely across CX team to plan, craft and implement solution in service provider and enterprise environment
• Service delivery and customization
• Provides consultation to seek NMS product and network problems independently
• Acts as a point of contact for the problem resolution
• Mentor junior engineers
• Understanding and utilization of Cisco Best practices and internal processes
• Setting up the lab setups to simulate the customer problems and provide the solution to the customer
• Provides product training

Who you are:

• Minimum 5+ years experience working with NMS/ EMS product from major telecom vendors including, NOC operations, performance management, fault management and NMS product configuration/customization (FCAPS).
• Experience working with Cisco NMS products like EPNM, CPNR, CPAR, Prime will be added advantage
• Ability to analyze, configure and troubleshoot NMS products,
• Virtualization (VMware, KVM) and Bare metal installation
• Strong Unix / Linux Skills (Administration, Server tuning & Maintenance skills)
• Sound understanding of IP Networking with knowledge of integration with NMS products.
• Server Hardware/OS experience on administration, sizing, tuning and maintenance of Linux and Windows Server Operating Systems
• Automation using NMS tools or Virtualization tools
• Experience in NetConf, Yang Modeling, SNMP, SYSLOG, IP SLA
• Experience working with Cisco IOS XE , IOS XR
• Knowledge of Rest API
• CCNA/CCNP/VCP certification
• Superb interpersonal skills, standout colleague, service oriented
• Ability to work with remote teams and different time zones
• Independent and able to plan work according to priorities
• Integration capability of NMS with OSS
• Python/Shell/Perl/EEM Scripting/Rest API
• Basic MySQL / Oracle DBMS skills
