We’re involved in assessing the competition, developing customer-facing collateral, including demo videos and whitepapers, and creating technical exposure for our data protection portfolio. What you’ll achieve: The Data Protection Technical Marketing Engineer will be part of a collaborative technical team working together with product management and product/solutions marketing to develop technical collateral for Dell’s data protection portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for acting as a subject matter expert, identifying key technical concepts within our data protection portfolio, and communicating those to a technical-savvy audience in the form of whitepapers, including solution guides, best practice guides, validations, and solution briefs based on lab experiences and outcomes. In addition, you will conduct competitive analysis and research to determine the appropriate positioning of technical features and capabilities. Take the first step towards your dream career. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Technical knowledge of PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain and Cyber Recovery Solutions, or equivalent competitive backup and recovery products. Excellent understanding of backup and recovery concepts and troubleshooting. Hands-on expertise with multiple Data Protection products (e.g., PPDM, Data Domain, Networker, NetBackup, Commvault, etc.) Expertise in data protection and application integrations (e.g.,MS Exchange, SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, VMware, Kubernetes, etc.) Desirable Requirements Experience providing data protection in multi-cloud environments like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
