Job Description

  • Performs tests in all sections of laboratory
  • Performance of daily internal Quality Control, review and troubleshooting if required.
  • Proficiency testing – analyses, review and investigation for outlier, if any.
  • Liaising with the QA department for audits and compliances
  • Preparation for audits I inspection.
  • Liaising with the accrediting bodies for audits/Inspections.
  • Ensure complete documentation done in Lab.
  • Actively participates in audits/inspections and timely submission of compliances.
  • Maintenance of equipment and records
  • Maintenance of laboratory inventory
  • Maintenance & care of freezer & refrigerators.
  • Follow up of equipment maintenance and calibration schedules.
  • Supervision of washing and cleaning of glassware and waste segregation.
  • Ensures proper sample storage and discarding.
  • Monitoring safety in laboratory.
  • Coordination of training as per matrix.
  • Preparation of SOPs.
  • Preparation of duty roster
  • Operation of LIS (authorized modules)
  • Data archival and retrieval.
  • Manual report generation, if required
  • Report to Pathologist on path lab related activities
  • Carries out other responsibilities as and when assigned by the Management

Qualifications

  • Qualification : M.Sc + DMLT
  • Experience – 3-8 years
