• 4 to 9+ years of experience as Medical coder in US Healthcare.
• Must be Certified Professional Coder.
• Flexible with shifts – Required shift is EST 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
• Extensive Knowledge of “Current Procedural Terminology” / “International Classification of Diseases” codes – CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS and DRG.
• Basic understanding of claim adjudication rules and processes in order to pre-validate results.
• Understand the basics of medical (Medicare & Commercial) and related industry and Payer terminology.
• Understand of E/M, Surgery and Denial process
