Responsibilities Developing the government and external affairs function from ground up Government and stakeholder mapping, establishing and cultivating relationships Potential issues mapping and intelligence gathering in relation to government policies, regulatory framework and policies Initiate and drive public policy engagements Build grassroots support Requirements 10 years of experience in external affairs Strong understanding of local government system and structure Have existing relationships with the government, associations, policy makers, civil society groups, universities, think tanks, business chambers, etc and ability to build new relationships Familiar with digital related and other relevant regulations Experience in developing the external affairs department from ground up Experience in working in Global Companies in dealing with government where adherence to global standards such as Foregin Corruption Practices Act is a must We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on gender, race, age, religion, disability, or other local protected class.
