Description Your main responsibilities Translate business requirements into ServiceNow features focusing on minimizing the level of customizations and guaranteeing the ServiceNow best practices approach Provide estimates of the level of effort to implement a solution based on business requirements Work with business stakeholders/BA on detailing the requirements and mapping them to ServiceNow features Drive the design, development and support of ServiceNow solutions, employing best practices in architecture, design, development and deployment. Create and maintain internal documentation about all the implementations Deliver ServiceNow CSM & ITSM implementations including: Service Portal enhancements, Case and Incident evolutions as well as integrations with 3rd party tools Keep up to date with ServiceNow product evolutions, carefully assess the impact on the existing, raise alerts and propose improvements leveraging the latest evolutions. Work with other technology teams in order to facilitate interfaces between ServiceNow and other systems. Coach and support junior Servicenow developers and guarantee the quality of their developments. Job Requirements About the ideal candidate University degree in Scientific studies, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of ServiceNow experience with the last 2+ years as a Technical Lead / Lead Developer 2+ years hands on development experience (flow designer, JS, advanced configuration) 1+ years Web Services development Technical & Functional 3+ years Hands-on ServiceNow CSM / ITSM experience Expert in Service Portal management and customization using JS/CSS, out of the box widgets with practical experiences Expert in Case, Incident and Request management, Service Catalog definition and setup with practical experiences Good knowledge of the CSDM framework and its application in ServiceNow Extensive experience of integrations with 3rd party tools (scripted APIs and Integration Hub) Excellent knowledge of Flow Designer and business rules Excellent knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform and its core features (main applications, shared capabilities, CMDB ) as well the upgrade cycle and process Experience with Agent Workspace Experience using the HI platform and interacting with ServiceNow support Active ServiceNow certifications Professional Skills (Methods & Processes) Good knowledge of ITIL processes and the Customer Support context Good understanding of release management and code versioning best practices Strong capability in converting Business requirements in Technical Work and perform end to end design. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributor Specification writing: ability to clearly document the functional requirements including, inputs, outputs, considered solution and alternatives, high level design and integrations Testing Strategies: Strong experience in both technical and functional testing. Knowledge about test script writing and execution. Agile Methodology: Experience of working in SCRUM and knowledge of its basics (ceremonies etc). Soft Skills Team player: Ability to efficiently collaborate within and outside of the team and adapt to the audience (technical, functional, junior, senior, management etc Analytical Thinking: Ability to use a methodical step-by-step approach to break down complex problems or processes into their constituents’ parts and propose appropriate solutions Proactive: propose help and assistance in problem solving, detect issues and propose solutions, have a creative approach and propose improvement strategies Excellent communication Express ideas and opinions clearly, define messages and reach a common understanding of issues, addressing the audience effectively Produce oral and written communications which are clear, fluent and concise listen actively, ask question whenever necessary in order to clarify or challenge the requirements, rephrase to confirm understanding Deliver comprehensive presentations to technical and functional audiences
