Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
To lead cross-franchise communications and patient engagement initiatives for CRM franchise and manage media relations – Establish reputation of Novartis as THE cardio-metabolic and renal company in India (3-5 year vision).
Establish, develop and coordinate communication plans in-line with CPO and corporate strategic goals, and desired market position for identified therapies/ brands.
Work closely with the brand teams to drive performance through insight-driven patient-facing communications strategies and targeted content for an Omni-channel experience (in-clinic, traditional, social and digital channels).
Create and execute innovative strategies towards enhancing awareness of public and healthcare professionals as part of market development and category expansion initiatives. Manage agencies and budgets, track progress, ensure deadlines are met, and ensure quality and compliance.
Counsel the Franchise teams to ensure compliant patient engagement activities, including patient support programs.
Support crisis communications and issues management in the India on a needs-basis. Media engagement for reputation building strategies and initiatives for the India organization.
Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role:
Effective stakeholder relationship management proven ability to build trust in stakeholders and influence decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, verbal & written. University Degree in Communication, Business or Science.
Patient acumen and understanding of the patient drivers, health care system dynamics.
Business acumen and understanding of medicines lifecycle, a deep knowledge of clinical development
8+yrs of professional experience working in Pharmaceutical industry, on brands in a major corporation, trade association or public relations agency. Experience in Media relations/digital marketing/media planning.
Desirable:
Experience in the healthcare industry highly desirable.
